Connective Communication
90 mins
In this workshop, we explore the core elements of Connective Communication (being present, listening to understand, and practicing empathy) and bring them to life through simple, hands-on conversation exercises. We examine how these foundational skills show up (and sometimes fall short) in the activities themselves, in everyday workplace interactions, and in broader real-world contexts. The exercises are clear, engaging, and accessible to everyone, with each one thoughtfully building on the last to deepen learning and connection.
Team Size Recommended: 8–20
This Workshop is for you if…
You’re repeating information more than Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.
Important info keeps slipping through the cracks.
Your team hears what people say, but not what they mean.
Presentations get the same level of enthusiasm as a mandatory fire drill.
Vague instructions have caused mistakes, delays, or awkward finger-pointing.
You keep redoing work because the first round was “not quite what we meant.”
Your last team-building day involved a blindfold, a trust fall, and zero long-term benefit.
The Chatterbox Effect
After our workshop, your team will be able to…
Listen like it’s their actual job (because… it kind of is).
Say what they mean the first time, with clarity, not guesswork.
Solve problems with empathy and collaboration, not eye rolls and shoulder shrugs.
Present ideas with confidence, energy, and maybe even a laugh.
Communicate effectively across departments without needing a translator.
Feel more connected, more curious, and part of a more valuable work environment.
Actually like working together (we know, wild concept).
Connective Communication & Collaboration
120 mins
In this workshop, we revisit the key principles of Connective Communication (presence, listening to understand, and empathy) and explore how these skills lay the groundwork for genuine collaboration. Building on that foundation, we introduce a series of fun, low-barrier exercises designed to strengthen how your team works together: sharing ideas, solving problems, and making decisions as a group. Each activity is clear, engaging, and purposefully structured to spark reflection, discussion, and real-time growth, helping your team shift from simply communicating to truly collaborating.

This Workshop is for you if…
You’ve watched good ideas die in meetings, slowly, and with multiple witnesses.
Brainstorming turns into a battle of “whose idea survives.”
The loudest voice tends to steer the ship, even off course.
You want a culture where people feel safe to speak up, take risks, and build together.
You’ve got smart people, but they’re not quite syncing up as a team.
Some people in your team struggle to ask for help, even as they’re drowning
“That won’t work” is your team’s go-to brainstorming phrase.
The Chatterbox Effect
After our workshop, your team will be able to…
Balance speaking up with making space for others.
Build on each other’s ideas instead of blocking them.
Embrace imperfect ideas as launching pads for brilliant ones.
Foster psychological safety, allowing teammates to take risks without fear of shutdown.
Turn “bad” ideas into breakthroughs by building instead of blocking.
Respond to new thinking with curiosity instead of criticism.
Listen for potential, not just polished, ready-to-go ideas.
